You know what? I keep wondering how people know about us. Sikieiki said she found pictures and fan fiction... so I began browsing around the internet and entering names of various other people I know in Gensokyo.

There were all sorts of neat pictures. I didn't know we all were so famous. Are we celebrities and don't even know it? It makes me wonder.

I also found lots of pictures of that Rinnosuke guy doing all sorts of gross things. Like his crotch had a giant drill coming out of it and he was naked, and I was all like "O_o;" And I also saw another one of him where he was kissing that girl with all the dolls... I think her name was Alice. Does Alice have some sort of relationship going with him? If so, why hasn't she told us?! O__O

There were also lots of those dirty pictures of us too, like the one Siki mentioned! I don't wanna describe them, they are too scary to speak of. Like one I saw of Kaguya and that Mokou person... doing... y'know... they were kissing. And, and stuff... I don't want to go into detail on that either, there was something else going on in it! But it sure was funny in a way...

I never knew the Internet was so strange. I dunno if I ought to be happy or scared about it.

I once read in a book about a day people over in that far off place called "America" celebrate that they call "Independence Day." That sounds really neat! Appearantly, it is on every 4th of July.

It sounds kind of fun too, they shoot lots and lots of fireworks all night! We do that here, but... we don't seem to celebrate any sort of independence...

Gosh, we have so much freedom and everything... I wonder if we ought to try and do that! Maybe I could buy some fireworks and see what snazzy things they could be. I'd like to celebrate my independence too!

You know, since I've been here, I've rarely seen that girl in the pajamas and purple hair walk around. What was her name? Stromboli? Fizzoli? Melancholey? I can't remember it. But she makes me curious... maybe I ought to ask around about her sometime.

Oh! I better get back to cleaning up the kitchen. Sakuya-san served the boss a cake made out of a burglar who snuck in and tried to rob us earlier.

We fought for hours on end, unleashing tons and tons of danmaku nonstop. It was so intense, I thought it was never going to end. She was about to win, but then she got lazy and careless! I managed to pull out a victory at the last second, but barely... she still put up a pretty good fight for a dumb lazy broad. I'll have to give her that.

Still, though!
Ahhh... what a punishment... now I know how Komachi and Meiling feel.

Earlier today, while I was out on break, I had to run a few errands and frolick with the butterflies for a bit before I headed back... for old times sake. Everything was going so well and beautifully, I thought nothing could go wrong!

That was, until the accident happened. Without any warning, danmaku came flying at me from out of nowhere and suddenly I was caught in a crossfire between that looneybin (?) princess and that girl with the big poofy red pants... I tried to get out of it, but I got blown up in all the danmaku flying around, and I was knocked unconscious.

When I woke up, I found one of their corpses some distance away from me. I couldn't tell who, it was all bloody, and I was too afraid to approach it. So I flew away. Unfortunately, what I didn't realize was that I was about half an hour late...

I got back, and when I found out, I tried to explain it to Sakuya that it was an accident and that things got out of control... then she stabbed me in the head!

It hurts to think...
For the past several days I have been working as a janitor at the Scarlet Devil Mansion. It wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be. I've been working hard and doing my best to make sure to keep things as clean as I can make them. It tends to take long, and it can be tedious too, but at least it pays well and I get some good hospitality, so I guess its well worth dealing with.

I suppose, with my being able to control insects, that there is another upside to this job--I can command them to leave the mansion. Trying to talk sense into the silverfish is a tough job, though... cockroaches don't seem to mind, but these guys I'm talking about are stubborn... in the end I managed to get them to leave (and talk them into invading whatever hovel Rumia lives in. X3)

Also, I did have a bit of fun messing with that shinigami on the side. While I was on my break, I gathered some whipped cream, I approached that sleeping red head and sprayed a big bunch of the stuff into her hand, then told a fly to buzz around her head and land on her face... it was great, she slapped that cream right into her mug while half-asleep. I continued this for a little while, giggling throughout as she continued to try and slap the fly away in vain, only further splattering whipped cream on herself.

I can't help but wonder what that incident Sakuya mentioned was about though. I asked one of the other maids about it one day while I was mopping up the blood from Komachi's latest bloodletting (due to her being stabbed with a knife of course. From what I was told, she had came in while on duty begging for food). She then turned pale and walked off, and didn't even answer me. Was it really that terrible?

Oh! My break's over, I better get to cleaning the tea room. I'm not going to slack off like that shinigami!

Job Search

As of late I have been searching for a good job for me. Before then, my usual day was comprised of the normal things I do... frolicking, enjoying the flight and fresh air of Gensokyo and playing with the insect friends and holding one last nightly concert with fellow fireflies. And then it was time for me to be off on my way.

The first job I took was as an errand girl... I ran errands for some people in a village. Unfortunately, the pay was lousy, and the errands got increasingly dangerous. I was captured by evil hungry youkai and nearly eaten! Luckily I managed to get away, but at the cost of using what I had to deliver to distract them to avoid being the main course. Afterwards I got quite a thrashing by the person who told me to deliver it and I was fired shortly thereafter.

I then took on the job as an assistant to a cook and figured I'd try and help out any way I can. It was going well... that is, until that hungry ghost lady showed up. Yuyuko, was it? Well anwyays... she appeared, and all of the cooks looked horrified and in a panic. I never saw people run away so fast before! When I was the only one left, she began looking at me hungrily. Not wanting to end up being a main course again, I quickly fled and quit the job. Not like I would have made anything she'd want to eat...

I tried a handful of other jobs over the time too, but they were either bad for me or way too dangerous, and they aren't really worth mentioning here. There's a bunch of others I haven't tried yet... but I'll get to those when the time comes.

Hm... I wonder if that good-for-nothing shinigami is still the door guard over at the Scarlet Devil Mansion? It seems dangerous, but I wonder...

A visit

My lonliness reached its peak... so I thought that today I would pay a visit to Meiling. She said I could come over there where she was working at any time, after all. So I headed off to the Sanzu no Kawa. When I got there I met that green haired judge person named Sikieiki. She said she didn't mind if I visited as long as I didn't get in the way of anything.

I was really kind of nervous about it at first. I've never made the effort to make a human-type friend before... I guess I was kind of shy and hesistant to approach Meiling for a little bit before I gathered the strength to start talking to her. Eventually we found enough to talk about.

She talked about how nicely her date with that knife-toting maid went and everything, as well as how things were back when she worked at the Scarlet Devil Mansion. I thought it was rather... sweet, you could say. Mei-chan sure was really nice and friendly to me the whole time. I still can't understand why that maid would stab her so much with knives. I guess the concept is still sort of new to me.

I also told her about the strange 'anonymous' person who was talking to me a little while back and she found it sort of strange herself. She didn't seem to know who it was either, even when I told her that the person mentioned something about an 'old rival'. I wonder who it could be?

Meiling then said I looked kind of lonely and asked me if I wanted to be friends with her. I thought about it a bit... she didn't seem like the kind of person who would betray someone, so I guess I can trust her. I agreed to it.

After that it was time for her to start ferrying spirits across the river so I decided to take my leave. This feeling I have is kind of new to me... but it feels sort of nice. Is this what it's like to make a real human-type friend?

Yeah, so... anyways, I went and visited that lunarian doctor cause I've heard around that she was really good, so I figured why not.

Getting in was troublesome though... I had to explain my business there to that one rabbit and then this other one started lying to me that she wasn't in (I think she said she was kidnapped by 'martians').
Ooooh, here I am again... just now, right when I posted... well, I was attacked by Mystia and Rumia again! Its not enough they ran me into a tree one time, but they had to go and attempt to help me out of the forest once more! I nearly dropped my laptop in surprise! Then they grabbed ahold of me and tried to drag me along, but I bit Rumia and kicked Mystia in the shin and flew away quick!

They'll suffer much more than that though. Ramming me into that tree was a mistake! What if I died? Don't they know how significant I am? They'll feel my wrath soon enough.

So this is a computer, huh?

Hmm... very interesting...

Oh. Well... I managed to get this very interesting little thing called a "laptop". Though I'm not sure why it is called a "laptop." I went and asked that guy in the shop about it... that--whatshisface--Rinnosuke guy. He told me that it was a type of "computer" and that he had been giving ones out to all the other people in Gensokyo! How very strange... and he interoduced me to the "internet" too, whatever that is... is it some kind of net to catch things in?

I'm kind of nervous and excited, I... I don't know what to expect!! This feels so new to me, I'm so shy! I found this place too, so I thought it'd be a nice place to start writing.

I wonder how this place works, anyways? My page looks so bare in the preview... will it look this way when I post it?
